Archaeological panorama path
Start at the station and walk to the parking site east and to the church square. An exhibition on pre- and protohistory of St. Lorenzen, the Antiquarium, can be found in the town hall of St. Lorenzen. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Follow the path northeast, go past the church to the Rienz promenade (no. 2). Cross the wooden bridge on the left after the subway. The archaeological panorama path starts next to the main road. Information boards point out the archaeological features along the way.

Alternative: Walking path no. 5 + 8 – Fassing – Sonnenburg – St. Lorenzen
See description above; from the wooden bridge follow path no. 5 up to the turnoff of the archaeological panorama path. There continue on path no.5 along the edge of the forest to path no. 8 to the hamlet Fassing, and from there back along the road to Sonnenburg Castle and to St. Lorenzen.
