Reachability from the railway station of Bolzano/Bozen: Following viale della Stazione/Bahnhofsallee you arrive in 5 minutes on Piazza Walther/Waltherplatz, the heart of the old town of Bolzano. On the southern side of the square stands the mighty Gothic structure of the Cathedral. With the Cathedral behind you, cross the square and the adjacent Piazza del Grano/Kornplatz and arrive in via dei Portici/Lauben, the beating heart of the city trade. Turning right you can reach Piazza Municipio/Rathausplatz, turning left Piazza delle Erbe/Obstplatz.
