South Tyrol's marble capital
The Lasa marble quarry dates back to ancient Roman times. It is here that the famous marble is extracted. It is particularly appreciated for its soft colour and homogeneity. A village of hard-working farmers and craftsmen, Lasa has a great deal to offer: sculptures, churches, as well as countless historical and cultural treasures.
